And if you’re manually reposting your content across social media platforms, then you’re spending lots of time on more low-leverage tasks.

Alright, so where do you start in identifying these automation opportunities?

Using ChatGPT for Automation Workflows

With ChatGPT, you can generate a list of potential automation workflows specifically tailored to your needs.

Activate the Web-Browsing Feature:

• Turn on the web-browsing feature in ChatGPT.
  

This feature enables ChatGPT to access the web and provide sources.

PROMPT 💬

Generate a list of {20} Zapier automation ideas to distribute my content with {SOFTWARE/APP NAME}

Here, we’re instructing ChatGPT to search for Zapier automations and a specific use case (distribute content).

• Replace the variables inside the curly braces and experiment with different use cases.

OUTPUT 🤖

• Review the list generated by ChatGPT.

• Pick out the automations that resonate pique your interest

You get a list of actual Zapier automation use cases and templates you can duplicate.

Anyone who tells you they enjoy documentation is lying 🤣

Documentation is time-consuming and a hassle.

But trying to fix an automation months later without it is 100x worse.

And if you want a business that won’t fall apart the minute you take a vacation and would prefer it being an asset, then you need documentation.

Visual ChatGPT makes the process of documenting your workflows so much easier.

Note: We will be using two prompts in the same ChatGPT window.

Here’s how:

1. Take a screenshot of your Zapier automation.

2. Copy and paste PROMPT #1

As a Zapier expert, explain what this Zap does. Be confident. Use Zapier terminology but give a concise definition for context. 

State the benefit and how it works.

TIP: Make sure your Zaps have descriptive titles or else ChatGPT will make assumptions

Review & make final edits

It's a bit wordy, but no biggie.

What used to take me at least 30 minutes can now get 90% of it done in 5 seconds.

Now, in the same chat window, let’s create documentation using this template.

First, I’ll show you a screenshot of my prompt and the template I provided ChatGPT.

An often overlooked aspect of SEO is optimizing ALT text and captions for your images, which helps improve the SEO performance of your content, making it more discoverable by search engines.

Generate ALT text and caption for the image I've provided. Ensure they are concise, descriptive, and tailored for SEO. They provide contextual information while incorporating keywords to improve search engine ranking.

Are they perfect? No… but it beats trying to figure it out on your own!

Additional Tips:

• Modify the prompt to generate 3 versions of each (ALT and captions), so you have more options to choose from.

• Use HubSpot’s article and include some of the tips inside your prompt

• ChatGPT loves to label text. Include this to remove the labels for easier copy and pasting
